We develop and apply computational and experimental tools to study the evolution of bacterial genomes. Much of our work focuses on characterizing and understanding the diversity of the Enterobacteria, a group that includes the much studied human and animal pathogens, Escherichia coli. As well as the lesser appreciated pathogens of plants, Erwinia. Plus members with various other symbiotic and free-living lifestyles.
ASAP is a national organisation of people dedicated to managing, developing and promoting the advancement of livestock production in Australia.
